Bond Construction Co. – Crafting Excellence Since 2019
Founded in 2019 by brothers Clif and Doug Bond, Bond Construction Co. was born from a shared passion for custom carpentry and building. Drawing on generations of hands-on experience, the business brings a proud family tradition of craftsmanship to Geelong, the Surf Coast, and the Bellarine.
Quality workmanship runs deep in the Bond family. Their grandfather was a skilled carpenter, and their father operated a well-respected tile and hardware store in Deniliquin, NSW. This legacy of skill, integrity, and service continues to shape everything Clif and Doug do.
At Bond Construction Co., we carry this tradition forward by delivering premium, bespoke carpentry and construction solutions—carefully tailored to the unique vision and needs of every client.
Bond Construction Co. is registered with the Victorian Building Authority and is a proud member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria.
Clif Bond – Bringing Vision and Craftsmanship Together
Clif began his career as a qualified carpenter in his hometown of Deniliquin before broadening his experience in Albury and Melbourne. Working across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, he developed a strong technical foundation and a keen eye for quality craftsmanship.

In 2014, Clif relocated to Canada, where he advanced into a construction supervisor role. There, he led a series of boutique projects, including the construction of a whiskey distillery and restaurant in Banff, as well as high-end custom homes and extensions in Whistler Village—further refining his leadership skills and attention to detail.

Upon returning to Australia in 2017, Clif settled in the Geelong and Surf Coast region. In 2019, he partnered with his brother Doug to establish Bond Construction Co., combining their shared values, experience, and passion for building.

Clif remains deeply committed to his profession, continually investing in his development. He completed his Certificate IV in Building and Construction in 2019 and achieved his Builders Registration certification in 2020, reinforcing his capability to deliver exceptional building outcomes.
Doug Bond – A Craftsman with a Passion for Precision
Doug’s passion for construction began at an early age, assisting in his father’s tiling business throughout his childhood. Growing up by the river in Deniliquin also fostered a strong connection to the outdoors—an influence that continues to shape his practical, grounded approach to building today.
Doug completed his carpentry apprenticeship with Orca Construction Group, a highly respected Geelong-based builder. During his time there, he developed a well-rounded carpentry skill set while building strong, lasting relationships with local tradespeople and builders.

Since then, Doug has worked across a wide range of residential projects throughout Geelong, the Surf Coast, and the Bellarine Peninsula, gaining hands-on experience that underpins his broad expertise in construction.

In 2019, Doug further strengthened his professional credentials by completing his Certificate IV in Building and Construction, and in 2025, he achieved his Builders Registration—cementing his capability to deliver high-quality building outcomes from concept to completion.
